N. RAJENDRAN a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Transport & Logistics at Malaysia
University and Science and Technology has a Master’s in Business Administration and
currently pursuing PHD in the field of Supply Chain and Management. He holds a 25 years of
Industrial Experience related to Supply Chain and Logistics Management. Subsequently, his
exposure as a Supply Chain Operations Manager at Tesco Stores has imparted vast experience
as well as enhanced his managerial qualities. Adding on, his involvement in the field of Project
Freight Forwarding, Multimodal Transportation, Shipping, Chartering, Transport Planning,
Warehousing and Distribution has contributed in creating him as an expert of the field. Finally,
Rajen’s recent achievement as a Trainer has contributed in sculpturing a unique and a true leader who can shed light on one’s live.
He graduated from Royal Military College, with the prestigious award, The Sword of Honor, as the Best Overall Cadet and Winner of the Commandant Award for Best Academic. He starts his career as an Army Officer in the Malaysian Special Forces Group. While serving in the MSFG, he holds various appointments from Troop Commander, Adjutant, Intelligence Officer, and Squadron Commander.
In 2000, he graduated from UiTM, Shah Alam, with a Degree in Law [LL.B] and transferred to Army Legal Department. During his tenure as Army Legal Officer, his task was to act as a prosecution officer and as President of Military Court Martial, which deals with criminal cases, fraud, breach of security, and disciplinary matters.
In early 2006, he was transferred to the Ministry of Defense Intelligence Organization in MINDEF as Head of Intelligence Analysis, Security and Counter-Intelligence Directorate. He has various 'hands-on' experience in collecting intelligence in cases of a security breach on material, documentation, and personnel, general security, and politics.
Apart from planning, collecting, and analyzing Intelligence information, he was also Head of Investigations Team in Security and Counter Intel Unit, BSPP, which involved in investigating various high-profile cases in Armed Forces. While serving in the BSPP, he has been appointed as the Minister Key Result Area/ Key Performance Index (MKRA/KPI) Officer for Minister of Defense 2009-2011.
In 2011 after he left the Armed Forces, he was appointed as Physical Security Consultant for the Malaysian Anti- Corruption Commission for a special project for 18 months in Putrajaya. During this period, he has restructured the MACC Protective Security Department and provided special training for all MACC Physical Security management team.
In 2016 he joined the RAPID Project Security Directorate as Senior Executive for Risk Management and Compliance. He wrote up the Pengerang Integrated Complex, Security Operation Management Systems, and Security Plan for RAPID Project. He was the Team Leader for the PIC Central Directorate - Security Directorate for the ISO 18788:2015 Security Operation Management Systems accreditation, where PIC Security Directorate is the first organization in Malaysia to be awarded with such certification.
